Rebuilt Equipment Warranty and Procedure

The following warranty applies to all rebuilt parts and equipment manufactured by Mid-West Pump (90) Ltd. (MWP). It outlines the responsibility between the customer and NPDL, it is not intended to replace any existing warranty policy that MWP has put in place

Warranty Overview

We will describe the equipment you are purchasing to the best of our knowledge at the time, including all details of options, trim, etc. Please be as detailed as possible on your order confirmation form or purchase order as these documents govern our agreement with you.

This warranty covers three grades of equipment, each with a different level of warranty. They are outlined below.

Fully Remanufactured Units

Equipment that has been fully remanufactured or rebuilt.

Used Units

Equipment that has been previously installed, it is tested and proven functional. Not rebuilt.

As-Is Equipment

This equipment has no guarantee as to it's condition, appearance, and functionality.

Equipment Replacement

Equipment and parts will be warrantied on an exchange basis.

We will supply the warranty replacement parts that you need, charging for them according to our normal credit terms with you. When we receive the defective parts from you and have verified that they are defective, we will credit your account for any reimbursement that is due, including any allowable labor and travel costs. If you are a COD customer, you will be paid via cheque.

The period of the warranty begins on the date the equipment is shipped.

We cannot begin the warranty at the time of startup because we have no control over how long the equipment may sit, or how it might be treated, between shipment and startup. If at the time you place your order, you know that there will be a startup delay, please discuss the possibility of a warranty extension with your salesperson. There may be a charge for this. The warranty extension date will be printed on your invoice.

Warranty Procedure

What we will ask from you.

You must have the equipment installed by an OEM certified technician or a technician specifically approved for your job by NPDL, this requirement is intended to protect both you, the customer, and us, the supplier. There are many occasions where equipment can be damaged by improper installation and unnecessary components getting changed due to inexperienced technicians unfamilliar with the equipment. For this reason, the above requirement exists. These problems delay and complicate your startup and result in NPDL being asked to pay unnecessary costs above the terms outlined in this warranty.

Prior authorization must be obtained from NPDL and/or MWP before any work can commence. This authorization will be sent in the form of a Warranty Authorization Number. Our technicians will work with you to minimize the downtime and expense incurred. Any replacement parts used in the warranty process must be obtained from NPDL, otherwise the warranty is considered null and void. Any defective or non-working parts or components must be returned as part of this warranty procedure.

In the event that NPDL is unable to obtain or offer the replacement parts required, authorization will be given to obtain the parts from an arranged 3rd party supplier. This authorization will be sent in writing (e-mail, fax, mail, etc) and will contain the necessary details. Failure to follow these procedures or failure to use the supplier indicated by NPDL will result in a rejection of the warranty claim and full payment will be required for any services rendered up to that point.

Any parts replaced as a part of a warranty claim must be returned complete to NPDL. The part/model numbers must match and they must be returned using a prepaid shipping method unless otherwise specified by NPDL. These components are serialized and must be recorded in the correct way.

We cannot provide warranty for products purchased from other suppliers or manufactured by other companies.

  4. The warranty coverage shall not exceed the amounts paid by the original purchaser at the time of its purchase
